10 Instagram Watch Accounts You Need to Follow in 2020
Browsing which watch to buy is made easy by the numerous luxury watch influencers via their Instagram watch accounts. They make it a lot easier to find and settle on that grail watch, a watch that will adorn your wrist for decades and be passed down to your children. But there are so many out there. That’s why we’ve put this list together, to help you find an influencer that matches your style and can highlight timeless timepieces that you will lust after.
One of the biggest names in the business, Daily Watch, with 2.5m followers, more than delivers on his promise of showcasing high-end watches every day. There is a focus on Rolex watches, but many other brands make an appearance, such as Omega and Hublot. The account also highlights watches worn by celebrities. You should follow especially for the interviews Alexander Rosenbak has with people from the industry. A recent highlight was a talk with IWC’s creative director, Christian Knoop.
Amr Sindi runs his blog and Instagram account out of Switzerland, the home of luxury watches. Rolex and Patek Philippe feature prominently, as you would expect, but there are also posts that feature more creative independent brand watches, such as a Louis Erard designed in collaboration with Alain Silberstein. All the watches are shot beautifully, with vivid colours which highlight their appeal.
If vintages pieces are your thing, this is the account for you. Eric Ku is an avid watch collector and shows off his collection of retro Rolex, Roger Dubuis and Audemars Piguet here. Eric shoots his photos against artistic backdrops and features other pieces of art that complement his posts. You might catch some photos of his dog Sola too!
Cypriot Anish Bhatt shows how luxury watches fit into a luxury lifestyle. Well composed shots of watches from brands such as Tudor and Patek Philippe sit beside relaxed and fun images of Anish’s life. Follow for the watches, stay for the memes.
5. @On the dash
If you’re looking for an influencer purely dedicated to luxury watches, Jeff Stein’s On the dash is for you. His passion is Tag Heuer and he has been running a blog dedicated to them since 2003. While still small on Instagram, with just over 12k followers, his reviews and knowledge make him well worth a follow.
Run by the people behind the Hodinkee website, this account features stunning photos of all kinds of watches. If you love smartwatches as much as vintage offerings, this constantly update account will give you lots of reasons to fear for your bank account
Lung Lung Thun is a Hong Kong resident that posts photos of her life in and around the watch collecting scene in the city. Frequent posts from Audemars Piguet House alternate with lifestyle shots featuring watches for both men and women.
This New York lawyer really plays to his name. It’s photos of gorgeous watches as far as the eye can see. I don’t think there is a high-profile brand that hasn’t been featured, giving you a great overview of what’s out there. Added to this, he runs competitions and raffles so that you might get your hands on your very own luxury watch.
For something a little more fun, this account places stunning watches in playful settings. Do you want to see a Rolex as a key ingredient in a mojito? Or what about an Omega set against Golden Grahams breakfast cereal? Don’t worry though – this Canadian photographer makes sure no watches are harmed during any of the shoots.
Heading back to Hong Kong for our final luxury watch influencer you should follow, Carson Chan is the watch professor. Classic shots of amazing watches are accompanied by fine detail on everything from depth tolerance to power reserve. It’s the one to follow if you need a functional, and not just beautiful, watch.
