WatchSignals is excited to announce that our official Chainlink node is now operating live on mainnet, providing developers with on-chain access to high quality market research data on luxury watches. Developers can now call our Chainlink node to get luxury watch price benchmarks and authentication certificates. This data can be used to build many innovative new smart contract use cases, including non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that digitally tokenize collectible watches, which can serve as a new form of on-chain DeFi collateral, as well as exotic derivatives markets and new synthetic assets that track the global market price of rare watches.

As the market-leading oracle solution, Chainlink was the clear choice in blockchain middleware necessary to getting our existing APIs exposed to a rapidly growing market of decentralized applications across various leading blockchains. The node setup process was straightforward and seamless, requiring minimal time and technical effort on our part. Through our Chainlink node, we can now sell our premium data directly to blockchain applications and cryptographically sign it to provide strong security guarantees on the data’s integrity as being without a doubt from WatchSignals.

For more information on why we chose Chainlink to monetize our data for blockchain markets, read our previous announcement where we explore this topic in detail. If you are a developer and want to learn how to access our node, visit the Chainlink documentation here

Similar to other collectibles, luxury watches can experience significant price fluctuations, and it’s often difficult for investors to ascertain the fair market value of a specific watch at any given point in time. WatchSignals is a service provided by Zapevo that provides luxury watch data to collectors and empowers customers with AI-driven valuation tools. Collectors can use our API to access market price research, collector database information, certificates of authenticity, and long-term appraisal data. “We’re thrilled to launch our Chainlink node in such a short amount of time, supplying developers across the leading blockchains with unique and well sourced data about the luxury watch industry. By making these data insights available directly on-chain, we have expanded our business into a completely new market and accelerated the creation of completely new on-chain assets and DeFi markets specifically catered to luxury goods.” – Ari Pham, CEO of WatchSignals.
